ReplyDeleteDuring the time that The Hunger Games was given out there werr a lot of things going on at once and it was very hard to concentrate in school, let alone read at home when there was no time. On top of that the book just wasn't appealing to me as Lullibies was. Lullibies for little criminals was constantly shocking and exciting to read and I could not stop reading the novel. But it was easier to read Lullibies at that time because I didnt have that many distractions as I did near the end with Hunger Games.
3) Character Exploration Journal
My character of choice would Baby, the main character. She is a blonde and skinny girl, taller than most girls in her school. Baby is very interested in a lot of things, more than the noraml girl her age. She thinks very differently than most as well. She goes through a lot of abuse and abandonment, leaving her feeling completely hopeless and worthless. Which then leads to loving bad guys, and thinking its okay for them to also abuse her and force her in to prostition. Being able to feel as if I'm in the story with Baby made me understand all her feelings whether it be sad, mad, or worthless.
4) The Final Say Journal
Reading this book has changed my mind about a coupld things. First, that when someone has an addiction to something, its not just them in the addiction, its everyone around them, like a black hole sucking everyone in with their sorrows and misory. Second, that no matter what the circumstance is, everyone has gone through something, everyone has a story. Third, from this book and my own experiences, people can change and become better people, but it takes a lot of hurt and unfortunate events to change them.
